RipIt - a command line audio CD ripper
This page in
Using RipIT

One should find all information needed in the manpage, with option -h or in the README file. It might be worth going through the config file an set all options therein.

Testing ripit with no parameters should work:

user@ripstation:~$ ripit

standard settings will be used in this case. Of course: options are recommended and one can save them with option --save in a config file saved under $HOME/.ripit. Once the config file is created, no need to pass options anymore.

Example

ripit --nointeraction

But then the operator won't be able to alter the metadata from Musicbrainz or Freedb.

More examples:

ripit --outputdir ~/documents/sound/mp3 --playlist 0 --eject
